Do you make diffusers for stretch ceilings?
Yes, we can manufacture diffusers with a special “spout” for stretch ceilings.

The amount of the plenum space depends on many factors, both on the dimensions of the diffuser assembly with the static pressure chamber and on other communications located behind the ceiling, their intersections. This question is better asked to the design organization that performs the complex of design work at your facility, as they see the whole picture. As for the dimensions of our products, the size in height of a standard chamber from the floor to the clean ceiling level starts from 186 mm and depends on the model, diffuser slot width, chamber type and inlet diameters. You can easily find all dimensional indicators in our catalog.
Condensation may occur where cold metal surfaces come into contact with warm, humid indoor air. In FLOW diffusers, this is completely eliminated, as the contact surface area is reduced to zero.
A diffuser consisting of sections can be of absolutely any length. Sections are connected to each other using connectors into a single continuous line, the joints between sections are practically invisible. The length of a single diffuser is limited by the profile dimensions and is maximum – 4m.
FLOW diffusers can be installed in any rooms, including children’s rooms. For this type of room where special requirements are necessary, we can additionally offer to include special antibacterial or antistatic additives in the paint composition of static pressure chambers, which will have a beneficial effect on air quality, and we can also decorate the visible surface of the diffuser reflector with bright and cheerful prints, upon request from our smallest clients.
Diffusers can be installed in rooms with any ceiling height, you just need to correctly choose the location of their placement and select the diffuser itself, calculating the air speed in the working zone of the room. Parameter selection is usually performed as part of designing the entire ventilation and air conditioning system by the design organization. Based on our catalogs, the data in which is confirmed by research from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, doing this is very simple.
Diffuser selection is carried out according to several parameters, such as: air flow rate, required linear size, air pressure in the system, ceiling height, required jet speed at a certain distance. All these indicators should be taken into account by the design organization when developing the project. Specialists from our company, for their part, can help carry out an approximate calculation based on air flow rate and required length, based on average recommended values. We have also made the task easier for designers in selecting FLOW diffusers by providing complete technical information in our catalog and placing BIM models of FLOW diffusers in open access.
The diameter of air ducts is chosen by the designer when developing the project depending on the equipment power and the air duct routing scheme adopted by them, but it should not be forgotten that air speed in air ducts is strictly regulated by SNiP, exceeding speeds can threaten increased noise levels and increased system resistance, which will definitely affect the efficiency of equipment operation.
Diffusers are manufactured from aviation aluminum alloy AD-31, which is practically not subject to corrosion, and polymer powder coating of both diffusers and static pressure chambers allows them to be placed in rooms with high humidity and moderately aggressive environments without any fear. In addition, we are ready to manufacture static pressure chambers from stainless steel of various grades recommended for both humid rooms and rooms with special requirements (clean rooms, medical facilities) upon special order.
FLOW diffusers can be purchased from anywhere in the world. A developed network of almost 2000 partners in Russia, CIS and EAEU countries ensures convenience and efficiency in service. We can send manufactured products to you by transport company, manufacturing additional transport crating with our own forces to increase cargo safety.
Models A, X and T involve one slot with different widths, thanks to which you can select diffusers for different air flow rates. It is possible to manufacture a multi-slot diffuser, it will be single-slot diffusers connected to each other.
The Coanda effect consists of cold air jet adhering to the ceiling and spreading along the ceiling, which significantly reduces the efficiency of air mixing in the room, since mixing of the supplied cold air mass and warm room air is carried out only from one side. Also, thanks to this effect, the jet length increases many times, which causes discomfort in the lower part of the room at the floor. From the point of view of air distribution throughout the room, creating the Coanda effect is not desirable, to say more - not acceptable! With a small ceiling height, we recommend being more careful about the location and direction of air supply in the room, or using diffusers with alternative-angular air supply, which have much shorter jet lengths and allow air to be supplied to the working zone of the room at speeds corresponding to comfortable parameters according to SNiP.
You can supply multidirectional air flows or air from different systems, such as ventilation and air conditioning, through a single diffuser, thanks to a flow divider element built into the diffuser. At the same time, the FLOW diffuser line will remain continuous and clean from any visible elements.
