# Other Agent Plugins hosts

> Use the portable package in hosts that implement Agent Plugins 1.0.0.

Flow also generates a portable Agent Plugins 1.0.0 package. Use it when your host supports that
format's skills and Streamable HTTP MCP connections.

## Generate it

```sh Terminal
npx @flow-engineer/flow plugin --server https://agent.example.com/mcp --out plugins
npx @flow-engineer/flow check --plugin plugins
```

Load `plugins/agent-plugins/` through the host's installation flow. The package has a root
`plugin.json`, an `mcp.json` connection using `type: "streamable-http"`, and a `skills/` directory.

## Check host compatibility

Support for MCP alone does not mean a host can install this plugin format. Confirm that it can
load the [Agent Plugins 1.0.0 format](https://agent-plugins.org/specification), discover skills and
connect to your server's transport.

**Check it worked:** one skill appears once, and a tool request reaches `/mcp/plugin`. If the host
only supports MCP, use the standalone `/mcp` endpoint instead so it can also read skills.
